“Light weight sugar pine Ts are exceptional guitars with a character all their own. Recommended!”
T49
Sugar Pine is the original body wood that Leo Fender used on the Tele prototypes in the late 40s before commercial production. I hand select each sugar pine board, looking for light weight and good grain. The tone is softer and more mellow but with an excellent harmonic content and a wonderful bloom when pushed
The finest hand crafted T-style guitar that you will find. I have been doing this since 1985 and have a hard time with the “custom shop” definition used by the big factories. This is a real custom shop, with 35 years of experience. You will not be disappointed!
