  • Build-to-Order Guitars

    Guitars can be custom ordered directly from me on a build to order basis.  Please contact me to discuss your ideas.  We will define what you are looking for in a custom instrument, and will come up with detailed specs and a plan for building your custom guitar.  I very much enjoy interacting with musicians to discuss ideas and concepts of guitar designs, and look forward to working with you to identify what you hear, what you feel, what you are looking for. 

  • Delivery Time for Build-to-Order Guitars

    I am a single-person shop, building guitars by hand one at a time or in very small batches.  Depending on the model ordered, and my back-log at the time of your order, the completion time can vary.  As of January 2021, you will have your guitar within 5-10 months after your order, shorter for a T-style instrument.

    A deposit of 25% is required to initiate a build contract, which will include a detailed description of the guitar, and estimated timelines for delivery.  An additional 25% deposit will be required before painting, with the balance due prior to delivery.     

    Work on the guitar will begin at a time dependent on the backlog at the time of your deposit.   The build contract will stipulate that after work has been initiated, changes to the design can not be made.  Due to the custom nature of the work, deposits are non-refundable once the work has been initiated.

  • Deluxe binding package (fine multi line body and neck binding, and headstock binding:   add $350
  • Figured mother of pearl block-style fingerboard inlay:  add $400
  • Sunburst finish:  add $250
  • One piece swamp ash body (for T52 model): add $250
  • Torrefied neck and fingerboard (for bolt on neck models): add $200 
  • Cutaway (Nazareth models): add  $500  

Custom or premium hardshell cases or gig bags are available for an extra charge.  This includes CedarCreek, Ameritage, Calton, Hiscox, BAM, and VisesNut.  Contact me for prices.
